About this Event
NPR has called Juanito Pascual "one of the hottest flamenco guitarists in recent years." And in this brand new, truly one of a kind project, the Minneapolis-born, globe-trotting guitarist and his acclaimed Trio debut their homage to a lifelong hero in an astonishing flamenco tribute infused with blues, jazz and rock. The virtuosic band, featuring Grammy-nominated percussionist Tupac Mantilla and bassist Brad Barrett, channels the fire of Jimi’s music and spirit, reimagined through Spanish rhythms and masterful improvisation. The Juanito Pascual Trio will be joined for these special performances by dancers from Twin Cities legendary Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theater for what promises to be an unforgettable musical and artistic experience!www.juanitopascual.com
