About this Event
THE MUSIC THE SEASON WAS MADE FOR
There is a reason Handel's Messiah has been sung every December for nearly three hundred years. Some music belongs to a season, and this music belongs to this one.
On the second Sunday of December, the Great Lakes Philharmonic brings it to Etobicoke — the great choruses, the 'Hallelujah' rising to the rafters, and around them the carols everyone in the room already knows by heart.
Bring your family. Bring someone who has never heard it live.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The concert runs approximately ninety minutes with one intermission, and it is built for families. Children are welcome, and the carols are the part they tend to remember.
As with every Great Lakes Philharmonic performance, there is no recording, no livestream and no replay. This evening happens once.
A NOTE ON GIVING TICKETS
Tickets make a good gift, and they are easy to pass on — buy them in your own name and forward the confirmation to whoever is coming. An evening together is a better present than most objects.
