Brian is also the author of A Pocketful of Poisons, a compelling collection of short stories centred on toxic substances. With a professional background in chemistry and biology, he brings a unique level of realism to his writing. He also advises fellow authors on the scientific aspects of crime fiction, including poisons, knockouts, weapons, body disposal, and DNA.
He is the author of Crime Writing: How to Write the Science, a practical guide covering these topics and more.
