Please join us as we come together to celebrate the life of our dear friend, John Kreger. ❤️John was a husband, a father, a brother, and a best friend to so many. If you knew John, chances are you remember his smile, his laugh, or one of the countless high fives he was always ready to give.
John loved life and the people in it. He loved hunting, football (especially the Redskins), and he absolutely loved golf—and anyone who played with him knows he was pretty darn good at it, too. ⛳️
John was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), a rare and devastating prion disease of the brain. His illness moved far too quickly and took someone who meant so much to so many people.
Now we want to come together for John and for the family he loved so deeply.
This will be a time to surround his family with love and support, but also a time to celebrate John the way he deserves to be celebrated. We want to hear the stories. The funny ones, the golf stories, the hunting stories, the stories his family may have never heard before. We want to laugh, remember, hug, raise a glass, and share all of the moments that made John John.
So please come out, bring your favorite John story, and help us show his family just how many lives he touched.
And in true John fashion, there should probably be a few high fives along the way. ❤️

This is a BBQ, so come hungry-
Beer and wine will be provided, and a cash bar will also be available for additional drinks.
We’ll also have raffles throughout the evening, with proceeds going directly toward helping John’s family with expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
