We’re excited to invite you to take part in the upcoming Jobs & Skills Fair on Monday 19th October 2026, 9:00am – 6:00pm at Barrow Town Hall, Duke Street, Barrow in Furness, Cumbria LA14 2LD
This event is a collaboration between Inspira, Cumbria Careers Hub, and The Department for Work and Pensions, with generous sponsorship from BAE Systems, Barrow Rising, University of Cumbria, and Holiday Inn Express.
Why Exhibit?
We’re offering FREE exhibition stands to:
- Employers with live job vacancies
- Education and training providers with post-16 opportunities for young people
Meet motivated job seekers, showcase your opportunities, and connect with future talent in one space!
Who Will Attend?
Expect an energetic, action-packed day attended, the following people will be in attendance:
- Year 11 pupils including those young people who are Home Educated.
- Parents of year 11 young people.
- 16-24 Young people who are NOT in employment, education or training.
- DWP customers who are unemployed / inactive in the workplace.
The event will also be open to the general public.
