Menopause is part of working life, whether we talk about it or not.
Behind every organisation is a team of people. Among them will be women experiencing menopause, managers wanting to do the right thing and colleagues who simply want to offer support.
Creating a menopause-confident workplace isn't about having all the answers. It's about building understanding, growing confidence and taking the next step together whatever the size of your organisation.
Wherever you are on that journey, Menopause Confident Workplaces has been created to help small and medium-sized organisations across Barrow discover that creating a supportive workplace doesn't have to be complicated.
Join us for a practical day of conversation, learning and ideas and discover how small changes can make a lasting difference for your people and your organisation.
Whether you're a café with three members of staff, a local charity, a community organisation or a growing business, this programme has been designed with organisations like yours in mind.
During the event you'll:
- Discover why menopause matters in every workplace.
- Explore simple, practical ways to create a more menopause-confident workplace.
- Experience the evidence-based workplace MENO-kit and see how it can support organisations.
- Meet others who want to create positive workplace change across Barrow.
- Find out about the fully funded Menopause Champion Programme, with up to 20 organisations invited to take part in a six-month programme of learning, support and workplace development.
This isn't about having all the answers or a big budget.
It's about taking the next step.
Because when people feel understood and supported, workplaces become healthier, stronger and more successful.
