Join us at The Covellite for a night of folk, jazz, and psychedelic rock with J Slater, a guitarist, songwriter, and performer known for his funky fingerstyle playing, inventive arrangements, and energetic live shows.
Over the past decade, JJ has brought these sounds together across multiple projects, from intimate storytelling performances to lively band sets filled with spontaneous improvisation, medleys, and plenty of musical surprises. His music balances thoughtful songwriting with a playful, free-flowing energy that makes every performance its own experience.
His latest original record, *The Silver Key*, was written during a residency at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico. Across nine tracks, the album draws on the atmosphere of the high desert, blending expansive Americana sounds with a deep, earthy groove.
Joining JJ Slater for the night is **Busted Dreams**. Come spend the evening with us for a night of live music, creative sounds, and great musicianship at The Covellite. 🎸
