Jessica Wu:
Jessica Wu is a concert pianist whose performances create spaces for reflective listening. She is currently based in London and performing across Europe and Asia. Her work centres on creating an atmosphere of reflective listening, inviting audiences into a shared inner experience through the classical piano repertoire.
Born in Hong Kong, she began piano at the age of three and moved to the UK for advanced study. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studied with Prof. Mikhail Kazakevich. She continues to refine her artistry through international masterclasses with leading pianists.
Her repertoire spans Baroque to the present day, with a particular affinity for Classical and Romantic music. Drawing on a background in dance, she is especially drawn to music shaped by movement, rhythm, and expressive nuance.
Jessica has performed in London, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, in recital series, churches, and cultural venues including Holy Sepulchre and St James’s Church Sussex Gardens. Alongside her solo work, she is active as a collaborative pianist and works regularly with singers and instrumentalists.
She currently serves as Director of Music at a Church of England parish, and continues to develop performance projects internationally.
Sara Frankel
Sara Frankel is an American violist who recently completed her MMUS and Artist Diploma under the tutelage of Dr. Rivka Golani. She holds both an Advanced Music Studies Certificate and a BFA degree in Viola Performance with a minor in Sonic Arts from Carnegie Mellon University, awarded with University Honors. At Carnegie Mellon, she studied with viola professors David Harding and Tatjana Chamis Mead. Along with her classical studies, Sara studied with world-renowned electronic musicians, Jesse Stiles and Annie Hui-Hsin Hseih in projects combining music and computer programming, performing in their electronic ensembles and creating installations. Within her last year of her undergraduate career, she was inducted into the honors music society, Pi Kappa Lambda and is a recipient of the Tuesday Music Club Competition Scholarship. She gave the United States premiere of David Jaeger’s solo piece, Sarabande, during his residency as part of the Canadian Electronic Ensemble at CMU. Sara has also performed in numerous classical music festivals and orchestras, such as Berkshire High Peaks Festival, The Castleman Quartet Program, Brevard Summer Music Festival, the New York Youth Symphony and Eastern Music Festival where she worked with many world-renowned violists Atar Arad, Matsumi Rostad, Cynthia Phelps, Michael Strauss and more. Sara has performed at world renown concert halls: Carnegie Hall, the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Carnegie Music Hall, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Kresge Theatre, and many more.
