About this Event
Days in the Diamond District and nights at the Copa and Studio 54—who said the jewelry life can’t be as glamorous as the jewelry? In conversation with his son, fashion guru Steven Alan, we'll hear how Brooklyn-born Jerry Grant journeyed from 17-year-old jewelry wunderkind to jeweler for the Disco Era’s biggest stars. “Jerry the Jeweler” as he was known in the trade, hustled his way into jewelry royalty with his dazzling gems, and a glistening jewel box on 57th Street, the House of Jerry Grant, with its own celebrity wall of fame. From a crazy 125 lb opal to his exciting free-form, space-age designs, Grant will share his spellbinding 'only in New York' tale — think Goodfellas meets Uncut Gems.
