Balboa has been growing in the Tampa Bay Area, and you've all been getting so excited about it! Well, we’re bringing in international instructor Jennifer Barnett from New York City! Jennifer is one of the world's top Balboa teachers and dancers, who has won competitions at just about every Balboa event that has existed! Learn to do more with the Balboa dancing you already have. Gain clarity in communication for the lead and follow, good technique in your dancing, and skill in manipulating rhythm, momentum, and texture to dance your dance. More workshop details will follow, but overall you'll work with a world-class Balboa instructor to become better at Balboa yourself.
We're highlighting Balboa this month at the Dance Factory, with a 4-hour intermediate-level workshop taught by Jennifer Barnett, followed by social swing dancing 8-11pm where all styles of swing dancing will be on display!
