About this Event
JC2 Father and Son DUO
There is something unmistakable about music made between generations.
On October 16, JC2 brings that chemistry to Babe for a Latin Fridays performance rooted in craft, instinct, and the shared musical language of a father and son who have spent years building their sound together.
Their work is defined by range, but never by novelty. Latin Pop, Rock en Español, Son Cubano, Salsa, Bachata, classic rock, and crossover favorites move through the set with ease, shaped by live vocals, piano, strings, percussion, and a remarkable command of multiple instruments.
What feels effortless on stage is the result of years spent refining timing, repertoire, and connection, learning not only how to play a room, but how to listen to one. JC2 understands when a song should stay intimate, when a familiar melody deserves space, and when the rhythm should finally take over.
There is warmth in the performance, but also precision. The father’s multi-instrumental musicianship meets the son’s vocals and keys in a way that gives two performers the dimension of a much larger ensemble—without losing the intimacy that makes the duo compelling in the first place.
The music may move through the worlds of Maná, Juan Luis Guerra, Santana, Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives, and beyond, but the identity remains distinctly theirs: seasoned, bilingual, deeply musical, and built around the joy of sharing a stage together.
JC2 is more than a father-and-son act. It is a body of work shaped by time, trust, musicianship, and the simple pleasure of making people feel something.
