As part of Wellington Jazz Festival, The Undercurrent presents Stablemates Sextet!Auckland based jazz ensemble Stablemates Sextet performs a selection of original compositions inspired by an array of influences, ranging from Wayne Shorter and Pharoah Sanders to Michael Brecker and Chris Potter. Having performed regularly fronted by individual bandleaders in the past, the Stablemates Sextet now joins forces as a collaborative group ready to share new works, and new interpretations of old works.
