Erskine Chapel in Island Bay is considered one of the finest examples of French-Gothic architecture in NZ. Built in 1929 and restored in the 1990s, it features an Italian marble interior, soaring, vaulted ceilings and world-renown acoustics. For the first time since Erskine was built, it reeled with the sound of the underground on July 25th this year. The full audiovisual experience was a night to remember, the energy was felt by everyone there, the dancefloor was packed from start to finish, it looked and sounded incredible. So we are doing the only thing we could do; we are making it happen all over again. As before; expect projection mapped elements, lighting to knock you sideways, sound that soars, a fully licensed bar, a decked-out chill area, a dancefloor under the arches and a collection of some of Aotearoa’s favorite selectors who will have the chapel rocking.
