Japanese Sweet Drink "Amazake" Workshop
Join us for an exciting in-person workshop at the L.S. Skaggs Integrated Wellness Center where you'll discover the traditional Japanese sweet drink, Amazake. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about this unique and delicious beverage firsthand.

Amazake is a traditional Japanese fermented rice drink made with rice and koji. Although its name means “sweet sake,” rice-koji amazake is naturally sweet and non-alcoholic.
During the workshop, we will taste amazake and enjoy samples of sweets made with amazake. We will also discuss simple ways to use amazake in drinks, smoothies, breakfast dishes, cooking, and baking.
