A powerful and evocative performer, Jackett’s music plays with paradoxes, dancing through the contrast between light and dark, deliberately juxtaposing them, and playing with the patterns and shadows they create.Jackett is known for her huge stage presence and ability to draw an audience into her world with her unbridled energy, raw delivery, story and grit. She’s a seasoned performer with a dynamic, commanding voice that morphs from clear and sweet, to blues-drenched wails.
Anchored by hooks, her music is influenced by a wide range of genres drawing in pure pop, blues, indie-rock, folk and neo-soul. Her cleverly penned lyrics tell tales of love, tribulations, and connection to the planet and community.
