Fifteen-plus years deep and still one of the most in-demand names in the country, Glaude built his reputation on something rarer than technical skill — he's an entertainer first. Arms in the air, track after funky track, and just as likely to leave the booth and get on the floor with the crowd. That connection is the whole thing, and it's why he's been a fixture on the rave circuit since the beginning.
The story starts in Tacoma with a pair of mismatched turntables and a Radio Shack mixer. No scene, no mentors, so he taught himself to mix. Clubs around Tacoma and Seattle followed, then a friendship with a fellow up-and-comer named Dan — later DJ Dan — who got him in the door with San Francisco's Funky Tekno Tribe. He became a permanent resident. The Bay has been home turf ever since.
From there: Together As One, Cyberfest, Audiotistic, Cool World, sharing stages with Carl Cox and DJ Dan, and headlining the Moonshine Overamerica tours as one of their biggest draws. His Moonshine mix Off The Hook was the first where he chose and mixed every track himself — pure, unfiltered Glaude.
