Our guest speaker Rea Meredith has been knitting and crocheting since the age of five and has spent 40 years exhibiting her creations, including at the Thornton Cleveleys Horticultural Society Flower Arts and Crafts Show.
Her talents range from embroidery, cross-stitch, dressmaking, knitting and crochet to needle felting, painting and toy-making.She's also won numerous first prizes and tutored others to be creative.
Come and hear about the highs, the lows and the occasional disasters of exhibiting, along with helpful tips on how to display and show your own creations. She'll even bring some of her work along to inspire us!
