About this Event
"It Takes A Village" is more than just a networking event; it is a vital intergenerational sanctuary designed to bridge the gap between young Black boys and the men who have paved the way in the fields of social justice, law, finance, and advocacy. In a world where the narratives surrounding Black masculinity are often restricted, this event provides a powerful counter-narrative, centred on brotherhood, vulnerability, and collective leadership.
By attending, young people (ages 16 - 25) gain direct access to the social capital and "blueprints" for success that are often gate-kept. You will engage in structured speed-networking with established professionals, hear provocative insights from our Young Champions, and participate in honest panel discussions about navigating corporate and activist spaces while staying rooted in your identity. For our older mentors, this is a chance to pour back into a village that needs your expertise. For our younger attendees, this is where your career meets your conscience.
This event will serve as a platform where we do not just talk about change, but we build the networks required to sustain it.
