ABOUT THE CUISINE
Iranian cuisine is known for its rich use of herbs, vibrant colours, and balanced flavours. From hearty lentil rice dishes to delicate stuffed vine leaves, every meal is designed to be shared and enjoyed together. Meals are social, nourishing, and full of creativity — combining tradition with personal touches that make each dish unique.
ABOUT THE CHEF
A message from chef Mina:
“My name is Mina and I am Iranian. I come from the southwest part of Iran but grew up in Tehran within a large family. I learned as a teenager the pleasure of cooking. My dishes are based on traditional Iranian recipes to which I have added my creative twist. Cooking has become a joyful way for me to have a positive impact on individuals and groups. For me, cooking is not just a skillful blending of flavours and colours, but something that brings people together to talk and connect. My classes are a way to create memorable moments for participants.
I value community engagement and work as a volunteer in a local charity, hoping to make a positive contribution to the lives of others. At some point, I would like to use my degree in business management and my experience in event management to set up my own business."

This menu contains meat (beef) but is vegetarian-friendly (5/6 dishes are meat-free). Allergens include: milk, gluten, sesame, tree nuts .

THE CLASS FORMAT
Our cookery classes are family-style - meaning everyone works together to prepare the dishes as a team.
While you’ll be asked to choose one dish to focus on, you’ll have the opportunity to move around the kitchen, help with other dishes, and learn from each recipe. It’s a fun, social, and collaborative way to cook! At the end of the class, you’ll sit down with the chef, class facilitator and volunteers to enjoy the delicious meal you’ve created together.
