We will learn the hazards and risks associated with conservation tasks and learn how to write risk assessments for these volunteering activities.
The aim of this training is to help you understand the specific health & safety concerns that go hand in hand with running a practical environmental session. You will also learn how to do dynamic site risk assessments snd conditions can change rapidly in outdoor work!
This is a beginner friendly session and no experience is needed!

What to bring
All equipment, PPE, and resources will be provided. We do reccommend that everyone wear suitable outdoor clothing including warm clothes and waterproofs, depending on the weather, as we may be outside at some points during the day.
