Aimed at managers and supervisors across departments within a theatre organisation. Environment for Business is a completely different approach to environmental training. You’ll find a practical programme, full of step-by-step guidance, and a sharp business focus. But you’ll also find the content engaging and inspiring – critical to getting the message embedded across your organisation.
Trainer
Juliet is the Risk & Sustainability Manager for SOLT & UK Theatre; her role is to provide a consolidated and effective industry voice to represent the collective interests of membership in relation to risk management & sustainability issues, providing advice at operational & strategic levels. With 45 years’ experience in the theatre industry, covering all roles within a theatre environment, she is well placed to engage with and provide hands on advice to members, monitoring & evaluating risk controls and offering guidance where appropriate. She also offers bespoke consultancy services in areas of safety, sustainability & safeguarding.

This is an in-person only course.
EARLYBIRD - UK Theatre & SOLT Members can book this discounted rate until 17 October 2024*. A limited number of Earlybird tickets are available.
*SOLT & UK Theatre reserve the right to close Earlybird bookings early depending on capacity and demand
Refunds and Cancellations
You can cancel up until 10 working days prior to the course, and receive a full refund (not including Eventbrite Fee's, which are non-refundable). Any cancellations after this will not be refunded, but tickets can be transferred to a future course up to one year later. For full terms, please see the section below.

Please note that unfortunately our lift will be out of order.
- Attendees who require a Carer or Personal Assistant to accompany them on the course can book a free Carer ticket by emailing [email protected].
- Ramp access at ground floor level (there is otherwise one step into the building).
- Reception and conference rooms are located on the first floor of the building. This can be accessed via 25 stairs. Please note that our lift will be out of action during this time due to scheduled refurmishment. We apologise for this inconvenience.
- Assistance Dogs welcome throughout the building and to all events - the nearest park is Jubilee Gardens (by Embankment tube station - a 7 minute walk).
- Hearing loop systems are available in the meeting and conference rooms.
- Regular breaks will be scheduled throughout the day.
