Bedre Syn til Afrika (a Danish NGO) has a room full of donated medical equipment in Skibby that needs to be gone through before it can be shipped to Tanzania. Every piece has to be tested and checked against the regulatory standards. We will provide guides for checking the equipment so no prior experience is needed. If anything is possible to fix you are encouraged to try, we'll also provide some tools.*Transport*
Please try to arrange cars between yourselves. Post in the transport thread how many free seats you've got, or that your car is full so we know who's covered. Bedre Syn til Afrika refunds gas and provides lunch :))
Frederikssund St. (line C) isn't far, so if there aren't enough cars we'll try to run a bit of taxi service back and forth with the cars we do have. But do try to find a car first or try to make the bus.
The work will be from 10-16 (plus around 1h45m public transport or 1h by car each way). If you have to leave earlier or are not able to be there from the beginning just write so in the transport thread. Any help no matter how much is appreciated.
Sorry for the short notice. Bedre Syn til Afrika got their shipping date moved up and needs hands now. On the plus side, it's a good chance to get your hands on actual biomedical equipment.
