Join us in a celebration of Philadelphia’s young inventors, as students of SLA Beeber share an exposition of their inventions and the alternate worlds/histories surrounding them. Blending real world engineering and science with creative lore and clever illusions, these inventions are inspired by science fiction and by Pig Iron’s upcoming “alternative universe adventure play,” Franklin’s Key.
The small-scale World’s Fair-style expo will take place from 12pm-4pm, April 5, 2025, featuring booths that showcase each invention and sci-fi narrative.
With special musical guests: Aria Fiorillo and The Paul Green Rock Academy
At 12pm, join us for live performances from concert harpist Aria Fiorillo!
At 3pm, The Paul Green School of Rock will perform a set of songs by the Talking Heads!
This project is a collaboration with Max Lawrence’s engineering class at SLA Beeber and Pig Iron Theatre Company, in anticipation of Pig Iron’s world premiere of Franklin’s Key.
