About this Event
An introduction to cold water dyeing using a “painting” technique. Each participant will be given a prepped skein of yarn which they will “paint” using a pouring technique.
All materials will be supplied to create a skein of yarn in a unique colour.
The completed yarn can be used to make accessories and smaller projects.
All materials for this workshop are included. As we are using pigmented colour in the dyeing process we highly recommend that you wear old clothing and shoes or bring your own apron or 'creative shirt'
If time allows and you wish to dye a second skein, one will be available to purchase on the day.
Dye kits its will also be available on the day at a special participant price as a thank you for supporting a marple business.
Tea and coffee will be provided but please advise of any dietary requirements before attending or ensure you bring your own preference of milk to avoid disappointment.
Photographs will be taken throughout the session for marketing purposes. You will be able to opt out of any photographs on the day (if preferred) as our priority is your comfort and enjoyment.
If the minimum attendance is not reached you will be offered a voucher for another workshop.
