Join us at The Locks for an unforgettable evening celebrating one of the world's most famous wine regions – Bordeaux.
Whether you're already a Bordeaux enthusiast or simply curious to discover why these wines have earned such an incredible reputation, this relaxed and informative evening promises exceptional wines, great company and plenty of stories behind every glass.
Guiding us through the evening will be Tony Park aka @thegrapecrusader, whose engaging and down-to-earth style makes every tasting enjoyable, regardless of your wine knowledge.
Throughout the evening you'll sample a carefully selected range of outstanding Bordeaux wines, exploring the diversity of the region, from elegant dry whites to beautifully structured reds, discovering how terroir, grape varieties and winemaking traditions combine to create some of the world's most celebrated wines.
Your ticket includes:
- A guided tasting of a selection of Bordeaux wines
- Learn about the history, regions and grape varieties of Bordeaux
- Expert guidance from Tony Park (@thegrapecrusader)
- The Locks' famous charcuterie board (Please inform us prior to the eventif you have dietary requirements)
- A relaxed, sociable evening with fellow wine lovers
Tickets are limited and advance booking is essential.
Tickets are £39.50/person which be bought on Eventbrite or in person at The Locks bar.
All of the wines tasted will also be available to purchase at the end of the evening. Whilst the tasting will conclude around 9pm, as always we'll remain open to spend a little extra time discussing and finishing your wines.
