Using three primary colours, you will explore colour mixing techniques to create a wide range of natural greens, yellows, and earthy tones, learning how to match the unique colours of each leaf. Heather will guide you through painting a beautiful Ginkgo leaf in watercolour while introducing essential techniques such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and dry brush.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a completed botanical painting and a better understanding of colour mixing, observation skills, and watercolour application techniques.
