About this Event
Growing beautiful cut flowers in Florida starts with understanding our unique seasons. In this introductory class, we will cover the foundations of planning and starting a productive cut-flower garden in West Central Florida.
Participants will learn:
• How Florida’s growing seasons differ from those in other regions
• How to use planting calendars, variety lists, and local growing guides
• Which flowers are well suited to our climate
• How to plan your growing space
This class is ideal for new growers, home gardeners, and anyone interested in producing flowers for bouquets, pollinators, or personal enjoyment. No previous gardening experience is required.
