This International Women’s Day, we bring these threads back into light, inviting guests to explore womanhood in its fullness. While the content centres on women’s experiences, this event is open to everyone: all genders are welcome to learn, listen, honour, and engage with these universal themes of heritage, healing and empowerment.
We’ll move from African histories to European herbal traditions, from feminist science to embodied cyclical wisdom. Through this journey, we acknowledge the complexity and multiplicity of being a woman today.
We will open and close the day with a short practice to connect you to the collective space and to your inner feminine power. Whether you identify as male, female, non-binary, or other, we all possess creative potential energy associated with the feminine archetype. After the talks, you’ll have the option to stay at the venue for a group dinner, and connect with like-minded others.
Throughout the day there will be an open art space. Here, you can come and express and contribute to a collective art piece.
By the end of the day, our hope is for every attendee to feel more connected to their origins, more informed about their bodies, more curious about the unseen, and more equipped to reclaim the knowledge that has always belonged to us.
