Intense Records Present Groovy Psycho
📅 Sunday 22nd October
📍 Intense Records, The Meadows Shopping Centre, Chelmsford
⏰ 3.30pm
🎟️ Free instore gig
After years of performing, recording and collaborating with musicians across different projects, Spencer Taylor's incredible musical journey has produced a collection of albums, live shows and some unforgettable moments. From the 2017 debut Barlow House, through the Nashville-recorded 5 Days in 1979 and Sweet Blasphemy, to the latest solo material, the music has continually evolved — blending Rock & Pop with elements of Country, Blues and Soul.
A particularly special part of the story was the Nashville connection, with recordings made at the legendary Welcome to 1979 studio with Chris Mara, alongside James & John Prudence of Magic Seas and Jay Wigmore of Apachelux.
Four new songs will be available to buy on a limited ed. EP CD on, as well as copies of the 5 Days in 1979 LP in coloured vinyl. If you're unable to attend the instore, 5 Days in 1979 is available from Intense Records and is part of our Local Produce section - https://intenserecords.com/music/item/31711.html
