About this Event
Inspired by HER is BACK, Vancouver! Presented by the BeaYOUtiful Foundation, this FREE city-wide conference is open to female and non-binary identifying youth ages 9-13, that is focused on confidence building, self-love, mental wellness and fostering friendship.
This event will feature three rotating workshops that the attendees will move through. Each workshop leader will highlight a diverse range of topics all having to do with self-love and confidence building. Participants will take part in open floor discussions, variations of artistic expression, a dance class, interactive activities and leadership-inspired workshops. Each attendee is paired with a Soul Sister for the day, an empowering mentor to connect with while building new friendships with girls from diverse communities!

Confidence & Self-Esteem - What to expect
We will explore confidence as a skill you can build. Through guided exercises and conversation, learn to quiet self-doubt, embrace mistakes, and practice self-kindness. This is about showing up and knowing you are worthy. Leave with renewed courage and a reminder of your strengths.
Financial Literacy - What to expect:
Participants will explore what money is, what financial independence means, and how the choices we make with money can help us reach our goals. They’ll learn the basics of budgeting and put their skills into action through hands-on activities that challenge them to make decisions around spending, saving, and prioritizing what matters most. The goal is to help girls feel confident, capable, and empowered to make smart choices with money—now and as they grow.
Self Expression through Art and Dance! - What to expect:
Discover the power of expressing yourself through art and dance. This workshop invites you to move, create, and explore your unique voice without judgment. Through creative activities and guided movement, you will learn to connect with your emotions, release what no longer serves you, and celebrate what makes you you.

*Please Note* This conference is only for female and non-binary identifying individuals between the ages of 9-13. Parents can drop their child off at registration check-in (starting at 9:45am), and pick their child up at 4:15 p.m.
