About this Event

Welcome to Innovation@Bath breakfast networking.

Great conversations, valuable connections and new ideas have always been at the heart of the University of Bath's Business@Breakfast and SETsquared's First Thursday.

Now, we're bringing the best of both events together.

We're excited to introduce Innovation@Bath - that combines these two successful networking communities together at Newark Works, located in Bath Quays, the heart of the city’s business ecosystem.

Whether you're looking to grow your network, discover new opportunities or connect with fellow innovators, Innovation@Bath will be the place to do it.

Join us as we bring together the people, ideas and organisations shaping the future of business and innovation in Bath.

For our first combined event we will hear from Big Group as they explore why physical, multisensory experiences become more valuable as our lives become increasingly digital and AI-mediated.

Felt, Not Watched explores why physical experiences matter more in a world increasingly shaped by algorithms, automation and AI-generated noise.

As digital content becomes faster, synthetic and harder to trust, the physical environment becomes a critical space for human understanding, confidence and decision-making.

Drawing on Frontline's work with Mastercard and McLaren, the talk reframes experience design as Sensory Architecture: the deliberate orchestration of space, sound, pace, movement, atmosphere, technology and human interaction to help audiences orient, understand, trust and act.

This is not a talk about spectacle. It is a future-facing argument for designing experiences that are not simply watched, but felt.
