About this Event
Get your business AI-ready with this one-of- a- kind workshop designed to deliver a hands-on understanding of how AI is transforming manufacturing.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a future concept for manufacturing – it is here, being deployed across Queensland factories to improve safety, quality, productivity and decision making. In this one day leadership workshop, participants will explore how AI, combined with established Industry 4.0/ digital technologies, can help manufacturers use data, connectivity and automation to build adaptable, competitive, sustainable operations.
Delivered by experts in manufacturing, industry-experienced academics, and technology partners from Swinburne University of Technology, this workshop takes a practical, grounded approach to help manufacturers understand where AI and other digital technologies can realistically deliver value and how they can fit with their existing assets, processes, workforce and business needs. The workshop will encourage reflection on the key enablers of successful technology adoption, helping leaders navigate the tensions between people, process and technology to achieve sustainable business outcomes. Participants will also examine AI’s evolving role, from standalone tools to an integrated operating system.
Participants will explore real-world applications across safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, automation, process optimisation, decision support and product innovation. Industry case studies will show how manufacturers are applying these technologies in practice, while hands-on demonstrations will include :
Machine vision for defect detection, prescriptive and predictive maintenance, collaborative robots, quadruped and humanoid robots, wearable technology for activity recognition and safety, real-time location tracking for process optimisation, knowledge management, AI agents for improved forecasting/ planning, together with enabling technologies such as Industrial Internet of Things, 3D printing and AR/VR.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This workshop is designed for industry professionals in senior, middle management and front-line leadership roles from various manufacturing and processing industries.
