Join us for a hands-on workshop on visible mending techniques. Learn how to transform your beloved garments byExplore the art of cyanotype - a camera-free photographic technique that captures objects and images as striking white silhouettes against a deep-blue background.
In this hands-on workshop, you will:
- Discover the origins and creative possibilities of cyanotype printing
- Experiment with photographic transparencies of items from the State library collection
- Learn how to prepare, expose and develop your own prints using a UV light box
- Create a unique artwork to take home
Our 101 workshops are a great way to gain some new skills and explore creative tools, learning from experienced local creatives in an inclusive space.
