Three birds named after places in the County, two bird observatories, an actual desert and France just over the water. Kent is rich in wildlife. Growing up in the heart of the North Downs fortunately didn’t mean familiarity breeding contempt! What’s next for nature in this crowded and pressured corner of the UK is a mix of challenges and opportunities to ensure that the Garden of England is brimming with wildlife. The talk will take place on Tuesday 17 November at Parkwood Green Community Centre, Gillingham. ME8 9PN. 7.30pm - 9.45pm. Doors open 7.00pm. Everyone welcome. Entry, pay at door, £4.00 each for members and £4.50 each for non-members. Including tea, coffee or squash during the interval
