King Entertainer of the Year—NPR has called him simply "a blues icon" with a "huge voice." His incredible career stretches back to co-leading *The Robert Cray Band* and a legendary encounter with John Belushi that directly inspired the creation of *The Blues Brothers*. He has shared stages with Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Bobby Bland, and Bonnie Raitt, fronted *Roomful of Blues*, and released a string of acclaimed albums on Alligator Records, the world's most celebrated blues label.
Beside him is master guitarist **Alan Hager**—trained at Berklee under jazz legend Pat Metheny and later at the New England Conservatory. Hager is a player whose command of Delta blues, jazz, and classical guitar is simply unlike anyone else in the business, prompting Salgado to call him "the best player in the business."
