Join us on November 12 at Trader Todd’s Tiki Karaoke Bar for the Inaugural Chicago Maritime Bicentennial Launch Party—an evening of nautical spirit, tropical fun, and community celebration as we launch a mission dedicated to celebrating Chicago and the river and lake that made it.
Our mission is to connect future generations with Chicago’s waterways, preserve the city’s rich maritime heritage, and keep its boating traditions alive. Through hands-on educational programs, maritime arts and boat-building, and the restoration and preservation of classic vessels, The CMB aims to bring thousands of Chicago kids to the water and share the stories of the boats and waterways that helped shape our city.
The evening features two exciting experiences:
⚓ Admiral’s Hour — VIP Reception
6:00 PM | One-hour VIP experience
Kick off the celebration with Admiral’s Hour, an exclusive VIP gathering featuring an appetizer buffet with seafood and other light bites, along with an open bar. Enjoy great company, make new connections, and raise a glass to the launch of CMB and the future of Chicago’s maritime heritage.
🌴 Captain Toby’s Castaway Karaoke
The Party Continues!
After Admiral’s Hour, keep the good times rolling with Captain Toby’s Castaway Karaoke! Guests can enjoy a pizza, pasta, and salad buffet, along with two drink tickets per guest, while taking the stage for karaoke, sharing a few laughs, and celebrating with fellow supporters of Chicago’s maritime community.
