👀 The focus of our gatherings: An open community conversation designed to help us explore questions that come with being human and discover how we can bring more love into the way we live daily.
------------------------------------
DETAILS:
December is often described as a season of togetherness.
Holiday gatherings and celebrations. Reconnecting with old friends. Calendars filling up with opportunities to be around the people we love.
And yet, something interesting can happen.
👥 We can be surrounded by people and still feel alone. 👥
📲 We can have hundreds of contacts in our phones but no one we feel comfortable calling when life gets difficult. Smile through a gathering while quietly wishing someone would ask how we're really doing.
>> Sometimes loneliness happens when we're physically alone.
But sometimes it happens when we're surrounded by people who know our names, our jobs, our families, and our stories - yet somehow don't quite know us.
If you've ever felt that way, you're not the only one. ❤️
So this December, we'd love to gather together as a community around a question we believe is worth exploring:
❓How do we create meaningful connections where we feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted for who we are in this moment of our life?
------------------------------------
What We’ll Explore Together
For our December gathering, we'll explore the difference between being around people and experiencing genuine connection.
🗣️ We'll talk about what happens when our relationships look connected on the outside but feel disconnected on the inside.
When we have plenty of people in our lives but few we feel truly understand us.
When we find ourselves changing who we are depending on who we're around.
When we're afraid to share what we're really experiencing because we don't want to burden anyone.
When relationships change, traditions evolve, or the people we once felt closest to seem further away.
When we're the person everyone turns to for support, but struggle to ask for support ourselves.
When reaching out feels uncomfortable, even though connection is exactly what we're longing for.
And when we realize that sometimes the hardest part of loneliness isn't being alone, it's feeling like no one truly sees us.
We'll also explore something equally important:
❓How can we become the kind of person who helps others feel less alone?
------------------------------------
👋 ARRIVE & CONNECT
Come as you are.
We'll begin with a few unhurried minutes to arrive, find a seat, breathe, say hello, and meet some of the people sharing the room with us.
And because this month's conversation is about loneliness and belonging, we want to make one thing especially clear:
🚫There's no pressure for anything - talk, don't talk, introduce yourself or don't - it's all as you feel comfortable.

🗣️DISCUSS
We'll gather for a round-table conversation around our December question:
❓How do we create meaningful connections where we feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted for who we are?
We'll explore our own experiences with loneliness, friendship, relationships, vulnerability, authenticity, belonging, and the sometimes surprising difference between having people in our lives and feeling connected to them.
We'll talk about why meaningful connection can feel difficult, even when we genuinely want it.
🧭 We'll explore questions such as:
What makes us feel truly connected to another person?
Why can we sometimes feel lonelier in a crowded room than when we're by ourselves?
What's the difference between fitting in and genuinely belonging?
How do we allow ourselves to be known without feeling like we have to share everything?
How can we deepen the relationships we already have instead of always searching for new ones?
And what small things can we do to help the people around us feel seen, heard, and valued?
🛠️ We'll also share practical tools for building meaningful connections and invite members of the community to share wisdom from their own experiences.
You're welcome to speak, and you're equally welcome to listen.
Participation is always an invitation.
This isn't about finding one "right" answer. It's about creating a space where we can explore what meaningful connection looks like for each of us and learn from one another.
*****
💭 SET AN INTENTION
Insight becomes meaningful when it begins changing how we live.
Before leaving our conversation, we'll each consider:
❓What is one way I can create more meaningful connection in my life and help someone else feel that they belong?
The intention can help you return to focus when life inevitably does what it does.
*****
🧘♂️ MEDITATE
We’ll move from discussing connection to exploring what it feels like within ourselves.
Through a gentle guided meditation, we’ll explore how it feels to release the need to perform, connect with others through genuine curiosity, and recognize the humanity we share even when our experiences and beliefs are different.
Think of it as a little rehearsal for the month ahead, allowing our hearts and minds to experience the connection we hope to create in our everyday lives.
*****
🍎 SOCIALIZE & SNACK
And then…we eat!
We’ll provide healthy snacks and leave time after our gathering to simply enjoy being together.
------------------------------------
More Than a Monthly Gathering
One of our greatest hopes is that these gatherings become something more than events on a calendar.
We envision a community:
Where we feel safe to discuss the challenges and successes we experience in life.
Where friendships form.
Where different beliefs can sit comfortably beside one another as we learn from each other.
Where someone can arrive alone without feeling alone.
And where we slowly learn what it means to practice love, not only as an idea, but as something we live together.
So let's build it! ♥️
------------------------------------
Who Is This For?
🫵 You! Really!
You don’t need to change your beliefs to belong here.
At Suivera, our common ground is what becomes possible when we choose love.
If you’re looking for deeper conversation…
If you’re craving meaningful community…
If you’re curious about spirituality but uncomfortable with dogma…
If you already have a spiritual or religious home and simply want another place to explore…
If you’ve ever felt lonely while surrounded by people…
You’re welcome here.
And if you’re feeling wonderfully connected in your life right now, we’d love for you to join us, too.
Because sometimes the greatest gift we bring into a community isn’t what we need from it, it’s the love, presence, and understanding we have to share.
------------------------------------
Come Join Us. ❤️
Bring your experiences.
Bring your wisdom.
Bring your questions.
Bring your uncertainty.
