Discover the art of baking traditional cinnamon babka in this fun, hands-on class! With expert guidance from your chef instructor, you'll learn the essential techniques behind this deliciously soft, swirled bread, from preparing and kneading the dough to proofing, rolling, filling, and shaping your babka before baking it to golden perfection.
Along the way, you'll pick up valuable baking tips and explore creative ways to customise your babka with fillings such as chocolate, nuts, and raisins. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced home baker, you'll leave with the skills and confidence to recreate this beloved treat in your own kitchen!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). You will work with other students in groups of 3-4.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party. BYOB is welcome, so for those over 21+ please feel free to bring your own beer and wine. Bring your curiosity and appetite!

To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 21+.
