Roll up your sleeves and get ready to learn the craft of making Asian Dumplings!
In this fun, hands-on cooking class, you'll learn the fundamentals of making fresh dumpling wrapper dough from scratch. The chef instructor will prepare two flavorful fillings—ginger chicken and vegetable—so you can focus on mastering the techniques of rolling, portioning, filling, and folding your own dumplings.
To complete the experience, you'll prepare a savory soy-sesame dipping sauce that perfectly complements your handmade dumplings. Once your dumplings are assembled, you'll cook them two different ways: yaki-gyoza, which are pan-fried and then steamed for a crispy, tender finish, and mushi-gyoza, delicately steamed to highlight their fresh flavors. Leave with new skills, confidence in dumpling-making, and a delicious assortment of handmade gyoza paired with your homemade dipping sauce.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Beverages are available for purchase from the venue and are not included in the ticket price. Please note that outside beverages are not permitted. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+
