Speaker: Hugues Perdriel Vaissiere, PhD, Director and EMEA Head of Tax at Lazard Freres Banque.
Hugues Perdriel Vaissiere is a Director and the EMEA Head of Tax at Lazard Freres Banque, based in Paris. Prior to joining Lazard, Hugues built an extensive in-house career at General Electric (GE), where he held a series of senior tax and executive leadership roles across the real estate, banking, healthcare, and energy sectors. His notable past positions include serving as the Head of Tax EMEA for GE Healthcare and Tax Director for GE Money Bank. He began his professional career in a French law firm before successfully transitioning to the corporate sector.
Academically, Hugues holds a Master's degree in law from Paris-I/HEC and a PhD in private law from Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne University. His doctoral thesis focused on the complex theme of "exchange and tax law," showcasing a deep technical expertise in both French and international tax frameworks.
