Marking a landmark moment in Michael's career, Tell Me Something True is his 20th published novel and his first ever set in Australia.
The novel follows Arlo Hackett, released after twelve years in Pr*son, whose return home ignites long-held hostilities and unearths buried truths. Inspired by the first manuscript he ever wrote, it is a powerful story of love, loss, heartbreak and M**der set in a small Australian town.
Michael is the only Australian to twice win the UK's prestigious Gold Dagger Award for best crime novel, as well as the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award.
