Join Oakville Galleries’ Interim Executive Director, Jenifer Papararo, and Public Programs & Engagement Manager, Isabella Springett, for a guided walkthrough of a solo exhibition by artist and film-maker Ali Cherri in Gairloch Gardens.

In dialogue, Papararo and Springnett will guide visitors through Cherri's exhibition, taking a close look at each work and exploring the histories, landscapes, and material traces that shape the artist's thinking. Through a conversational approach, visitors are invited to ask questions, share observations, and engage with the ideas that emerge throughout the exhibition. The tour will consider themes of memory, conflict, colonial histories, and our evolving relationship to land and material culture.
Visitors are encouraged to continue exploring Gairloch Gardens with , an 18-minute immersive audio walk that guides listeners through the surrounding landscape. From there, make your way to Oakville Galleries at Centennial Square to experience Ali Cherri’s film The Watchman, extending your exploration of To Fall, Patiently across both gallery locations. Cherri's exhibition at Oakville Galleries is the first solo presentation of the artist's work in Canada and is curated by Séamus Kealy.
