NE SCULPTURE I Gallery Factory and the accompanying Sculpture Quad, located in Casket Arts Factory building, NE MPLS, connect a national community. Art at the heart of our Northeast Minneapolis community enhances lives by stirring hard-to-articulate feelings and inspiring the community to look beyond what we believe to be possible and imagine a more vibrant, safe and exciting future.
This year, NE SCULPTURE I Gallery Factory is part of The 32nd International Sculpture Conference, The Evolving Field of Sculpture: Shaping the Future of Public Culture, which is happening in Minnesota's Twin Cities, Minneapolis and Saint Paul, from October 22-25, 2026.
The day's events we will have: the sculpture exhibition inside the gallery and in the Sculpture Quad, music, a bonfire, live stone carving (Sculpting the Supreme with Peter Morales), ArtCars, the WOW Bus (WOW Mobile Metal Lab is known for its collaborative public art installations), the Community Canopy Project (new large-scale public art project created by Andrew MacGuffie & team, with work contributed by 50+ Minnesotan artists), and the installation of the Hindsight sculpture by Ruthann Godollei.
