Niluka Kottegoda
Niluka Kottegoda believes that when people build businesses with purpose, they deserve to have someone in their corner cheering them on.
After two decades in grocery retail—including 17 roles, responsibility for a $2B portfolio, and executive leadership positions—Niluka left the corporate world to pursue what she is most passionate about: creating support systems for people doing purpose-driven work.
Today, Niluka supports two groups of entrepreneurs: CPG founders with products that deserve a place on grocery shelves, and student entrepreneurs building ventures that drive meaningful social change.
Through Nuii Brand Management, Niluka works with purpose-driven food and beverage brands to become retail-ready and grow with intention. From navigating buyer meetings and developing trade marketing strategies to retail forecasting, she helps emerging brands move from “great product” to “on shelf”—and, just as importantly, helps them build the capabilities to stay there.
Niluka also founded the Dream Chaser Change Maker Foundation (DCCM) to invest in the next generation of Change Makers. Since 2017, DCCM has focused on the human behind the venture, helping student social entrepreneurs develop and scale their ideas into meaningful, sustainable impact.
