About the workshop
Join Nancy for a special adult and child experience, in the beautiful setting of Le Delice, Hither Green.
Although we ask that the accompanying adult remains on site at Le Delice while the workshop takes place, you are very welcome to take some time out in the cafe space, perhaps enjoy a coffee and a delicious cake!
Our workshop theme will be seasonal, (think pumpkins and magic spells...), and at the end of the session we will all enjoy a mini movie premiere together.
This workshop is designed to introduce your child to the joy of illustration and animation, and although stop motion animation is time consuming, Nancy will ensure that each child is able to enjoy a turn to animate their own illustrated character across the stage.
There's also learning and enjoyment in watching eachother take turns with the animation, working together to create something that they can watch at home as many times as they like, sharing with family and friends.
This session is an entry level introduction to the basic mechanics of stop motion, to spark ideas and enthusiasm for continued creativity at home!
Photography Consent:
During the workshop, some photos may be taken to help Nancy to share more insight in future into the sessions.
There will be no faces of children shared in any promotional material, and photos will mainly be of the animation area, the backs of attendees and close ups of hands drawing for example.
There is a consent option at checkout for you to select your preference.
Mobile Phones:
Should you wish to take some photos of your child during the workshop, we simply ask that you don’t include other children without consent, and that you please refrain from any filming of the workshop.
With huge thanks.
