About this Event
The 2026 Imagination Lunchbox Open Court Basketball Community Games to be held Sunday September 20 at the UA House at Fayette in Baltimore from 1:30-3pmEST. The basketball games seek to get teens and adult together who are basketball lovers for fun, good times, exercise and games. Admission to all ILICAFF activities is free!
The games are lead by Imagination Lunchbox Head Coach Mark Winchester, with Head Basketball Coach Kevin Broadus (Morgan State University) and Head Coach Darryl Brooks (Bowie State University) there scouting and inspiring. A selected player gets to play one-on-one with ILICAFF founder Anthony Michael Hobbs for a cash prize!
The community games are founded by Anthony Michael Hobbs, a SAG/AFTRA actor who has amassed multi-awards for his acting, most notable for his role in the Emmy Award nominated mini-series The Abolitionist which resulted in him attending the Emmys at 9 years old, and being interviewed by ABC news. He is also a multi-award winning filmmaker with over 20 awards for his short films. He used to play for AAU for five years and was his highschool's MVP basketball player in his freshman year. He is now a junior at NC AT&T Unversity.
The Imagination Lunchbox International Children's & Adults' Film Festival, and all its activities are presented by Imagination Lumnchbox, LLC, a company founded by Hobbs in 2014, where he serves as president.
