Α workshop for singing and dancing. When we sing and dance, music and movement are united… and our soul travels!
During this workshop we learn traditional songs with Kaiti Koullia kai the dances of the songs taught with Christiana Katsarou.
Duration of the workshop: 8 hours total
Price: 1 day( 4 hours) 50E, 2 days( 8 hours) 80E
Maximum participants per day: 35
Languages: Greek & English
This workshop takes place at Art Base, Brussels.
Also two concerts with Kaiti Koullia will take place in Art Base
on 23 and 24 October.
Christiana Katsarou has been animating Greek dance, language and culture workshops for 25 years in Greece and abroad in public institutions and private associations and projects.
She is a candidate doctor in the Athens Kapodistrian University in the field of Folk Studies and Culture, researching the interrelation of Greek dance and cultural tourism.
For her master thesis in Folklore studies she researched the Ikarian feasts through narratives of the Ikarian people.
In Ikaria she is the coordinator of Ikaria Dance Project
