GENUINE DURHAM: CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF DURHAM METAL & HIP HOPFriday, December 4th, 2026 | Stanczyks Music Bar | Durham, NC
Twenty years ago, Durham's metal and hip hop scenes were building something without a roadmap. On December 4th, we're putting them on one stage to celebrate what they became.
IDEA OF BEAUTY return for a reunion show, Warped Tour alumni and a defining force in the Triangle's 2000s post-hardcore scene, back with most of the classic lineup. 2DEADCREW headlines fresh off support dates on Riff Raff's latest tour, bringing the dense, physical energy that has made them one of Durham's most essential rap acts. GUN METAL BLACK plays their first show since 2007. MUSASHI XERO brings dark, brooding alternative rap down from Asheville. NUNAFTERHOURS performs with her live band, somewhere between the moshpit and the dance floor. END OF YOUR ROPE hauls hard-hitting 90s hardcore up from Greensboro. HAZRDPAY, Jooselord's DJ since day one, holds down the decks between every set. Special guests and local vendors to be announced.
From Greensboro to Asheville to Durham, this is North Carolina in a room.
