Entrance Fee: £7.50 (No advanced booking necessary)What if some of the stories we think we know about Britain's ancient past aren't quite what they seem?
Returning to Birmingham UFO Group, independent researcher and founder of Friends of Hagley, Ian Gunner, takes the audience further into an investigation that began with a mysterious underground complex hidden beneath the Staffordshire countryside. What started as an attempt to uncover the origins of a forgotten historical site has developed into a much wider journey through ancient history, archaeology, forgotten landscapes and some of the most dramatic events in Roman Britain.
Drawing upon years of original research, historical documents, ancient accounts and new lines of investigation, Ian explores how accepted explanations take shape, how important evidence can be overlooked, and why some of history's greatest mysteries may deserve another look. From enigmatic underground chambers to ancient conflict and extraordinary events in the skies, this illustrated talk will revisit familiar stories, challenge longstanding assumptions and raise some fascinating new questions.
An evening of hidden history, unexpected discoveries and intriguing possibilities - where the evidence may tell a very different story. And don't worry, there will be plenty of UFO related info with a news update and recent investigation overview by our Chairman and Investigators, plus a themed raffle touching on both subjects. See you there!
Please Note: Birmingham UFO Group is entirely non-profit. All entrance fees go towards paying for the venue and the events that we hold. For any queries please contact Dave on [email protected] or 07735699914.
