We are taking over the whole library, to have some fun, share what we do at Fantastic Journeys and raise some money towards our sessions. We would love to see people who know Fantastic Journeys well, and people who don't know anything about us at all!
We aim to create a fun and relaxed environment, that is especially welcoming for people with Additional Needs and their families.
There will be:
🎵Mini sound baths in a pop-up sensory room (the back room of the library).
🍰A cake sale/snack shop.
🖌Facepainting
🎯A challenge corner, for children to build their own challenges out of lose parts.
🎶A Disco den for music and movement.
🤲A SEND item swap. For people to bring any toys, aids, books, items that have helped them and they want to pass on.
Other important info:
Parking – there’s 2 disabled spaces on the library grounds, the rest is on street parking.
Toilet – the library has an accessible toilet, not a changing space. There will be a clean, cushioned, long mat in the toilet in case helpful.
